 For over forty years, independent fine artist Deborah Chapin has been a pioneering force in contemporary realism and master printmaking. Making her professional debut in 1980 at NYC’s historic Grand Central Galleries, she broke barriers as one of only two women exhibiting nationally in the elite realm of Marine Art. Since then, her deeply textured plein air paintings and fine art editions have earned international museum acclaim. Her storied exhibition history spans the globe—from showcasing works at the Grand Palais and the Louvre in Paris to lecturing on painting techniques at the Smithsonian American Art Museum. Now working from her private studio on the coast of Maine, Deborah translates her lifetime of European travels and coastal studies into museum-grade original prints, limited-edition lithographs, and spectacular grand-format architectural murals for luxury residences, boutique hospitality properties, and discerning private collectors worldwide.
